amber’s story
Lucy Bear Media was founded by Amber Harding, a seasoned sports communications pro. We specialize in brand strategy, content creation and social media management.
Amber is a native Hoosier and lived in Indianapolis until age 18 when she headed south to study journalism and electronic media at the University of Tennessee. In addition to writing and editing for the Daily Beacon and Vol Sports, she completed internships for the Indiana Fever and Tennessee Titans.
After graduation, Amber headed to Phoenix to earn her master’s degree at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School. While completing her graduate degree, Amber worked in the PR department for the Arizona Diamondbacks, covered Padres spring training for the San Diego Union-Tribune and spent a month in London reporting on the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Her experience in baseball led her to become a real-time correspondent for MLB.com, and she simultaneously worked as a production assistant and digital reporter for FOX Sports Arizona.
In 2015, Amber moved back to Tennessee to take over the social media accounts for the Tennessee Titans. While with the Titans, she was a one-woman social media band and handled the entire process - from strategy to content creation and execution.
After leaving the Titans, Amber helped launch and headed up all marketing efforts for a Tennessee-only online sportsbook.
In 2021, Lucy Bear Media was born. Using her vast experience in media and marketing, Amber works with professional athletes and small businesses to help them realize their full potential in the digital space.
When I started my own clothing company, I had no idea how to market myself. Amber took over my social media channels and WOW! She took care of everything from content planning to community management and even our influencer program. We saw our sales grow and the best part? I never had to log onto Instagram. why lucy bear?
Lucy is my 14-year-old mutt. I found her by a mailbox when she was just 8 weeks old, and she has been by my side without fail. My best friend and my forever mascot.
She is fearless. She is unique. She is unapologetic. I’ve never met another dog like her. She embodies everything I want for myself, my business and my clients.
