Kevin Byard Named AFC Defensive Player of the Month

The All-Pro Safety earned AFC Defensive Player of the Month Honors for his standout performance so far this season. In October, Kevin raked up 27 tackles, seven passes defensed, a touchdown AND a forced fumble as he led the Titans to a 4-1 record during the span.

“He’s our leader. He runs the show,” Defensive Coordinator Shane Bowen said. “He’s our communicator, and he’s getting himself in position to make some plays and he’s making them. That’s what we expect of him. That’s what he expects of himself.”
